WHO’s flu chief Dr Fukuda yesterday announced at the hearing at the Council of Europe that WHO intended to keep the pandemic emergency level at 6 for another two years.

This must not be allowed to happen.

Crucially, a declaration of a pandemic level 6 emergency triggers the application of a completely new set of standards for the approval of drugs and vaccines.

Under the pretext of having to tackle a pandemic emergency, drugs and vaccines can be given to people even though there are no clinical studies proving they are safe and effective under special EMEA guidelines.

This is not allowed when a disease is not declared formally to be a pandemic disease.

These new and „emergency“ standards came into force in June when WHO declared a pandemic emergency level 6, and they are the only reason why the swine flu vaccines were allowed onto the market.

The swine flu vaccines have not been tested for safety or efficacy. There are no data on their impact on children or pregnant women and only limited data on their impact on adults mainly from the pharmaceutical companies.

They contain the adjuvant squalene known to cause autoimmune and other diseases in US and UK vets.

The only clinical studies of these vaccines are being carried out right now by pharmaceutical companies.

GlaxoSmithKline is carrying out a clinical study in the UK on Pandemrix, but few details are available.

Also, Tamiflu which has passed ist selll buy date can be sold as long as a pandemic level 6 emergency is in force.

In addition, a pandemic level 6 declaration allows pharmaceutical companies to claim immunity.

The declaration creates a wild west when it comes to approving drugs at a time when US researchers are developing vaccines that can be made using plants and given as pills.

This cannot be allowed to continue for 2 more years.

In addition, the declaration of a pandemic level 6 significantly increases the power of WHO over national governments.

France came within days of full scale martial law in December: a secretive crisis committee set up in Paris to manage the pandemic was under the ultimate authority of WHO. But it was only one of many countries.

US President Barack Obama declared a national emergency over the swine flu on October 23rd, opening the door to semi martial law.

 As long as pandemic declaration 6 continues to be in force, these special crisis committees under the direction of WHO and the UN continue to have extraordinary powers to intervene in the public health services, military and law enforcement.

 WHO cannot be allowed to consolidate its grip on the functions of national government over the next to years behind close doors.

If it does, WHO (and  the corporate interests that control it) have an incentive for creating another crisis, just so it can use ist new power.
